Do I have to be a professional to take part in this program?

It is not necessary that you have completed your studies to be able to do an internship. Most of our interns are still students who want to extend their rank of possibilities through an international experience and the incorporation of a new language, or are professionals who wish to extend their knowledge and to measure their adaptation capacity in different work atmospheres.

How important is the extra information that I have to submit?

The registration form is not enough to initiate the searching process of an internship.

Although it provides us with your personal information, the Resume and mainly the intention letter, will allow us to do an evaluation of your profile, your interests and your needs, and will help us to find the perfect internship for you. This information can be provided either in English or Spanish, to help the task of our program coordinator.

How much time do I need to submit my application?

ABLE Español requires that you send the information with a minimum of 4 weeks advanced regarding the date that you have decided to begin the program. This will not only allow us to assure the quality of the program we offer you, but also to fulfill your expectations.

What happens if I do not have an intermediate Spanish level?

The intermediate Spanish level is a necessary requirement for you to begin the program.

Even though, it is not necessary to have acquired an intermediate Spanish level at the time of your application. Therefore, the telephone interview will help us measure your Spanish skills and we will be able to give you advice on this matter. In the case you do not reach an intermediate level, there are several possibilities available for you, such as start studying Spanish in your country or to take a Spanish course in Argentina, before beginning your internship.

How many hours do I have to work during the internship?

Although the schedules are flexible, most of the interns work five days a week, between 4 and 6 hours per day. It will depend on the kind of internship and the project that you develop during the program.

Can I contact former interns to know more about their experiences?

Our interns will be happy to tell you about their experiences and guide you to turn your adaptation process to new situations and a new culture easier. In order to reach them you will have to contact our advisors so they can provide all the details you need.

Is there any scholarship available to help me finance the internship program?

Many institutions of your country of origin provide financial help for educative programs.

ABLE Español has the possibility of supplying all the information you need if you wish to obtain financial help from your university, the company where you work or other organizations. You only have to send us the requisites they ask for and we will send you back the complete information, such as academic programs, institutional letters, etc.
